Overview
Work permits are documented procedures associated with controlling potentially hazardous work activities. This course will provide learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to apply for, accept, and carry out work according to the relevant permit, supported by the appropriate work processes and procedures.
Who should attend this course?
CCTA’s Permit-to-Work Course is tailored for applicants who will be receiving permits, as well as those who will supervise or carry out the work covered by a permit.

Applicants who work in high-risk environments such as: Confined spaces, Working at height, Asbestos work, Hot work, Railway maintenance, and more, should join this course.
Topics Covered
At the end of this training, participants are expected to be able to explain the different types of work permits, the roles involved in the work permit system, and the requirements needed to secure a work permit.
They shall be able to explain the preparatory requirements for applying for a work permit; accept a work permit and undertake work under the permit; and describe and carry out the controls and actions to be taken at the end of a work period or upon the completion of work.
