A first aid refresher course is a great idea for anyone who spends their time in different types of high-risk environments. First aid courses are also a great idea for any parent or guardian who has children, as it can be difficult to handle an emergency at home when you don’t know how to react or respond in the proper way.

Who should attend?
Attendees must be:

Over 14 years old

Able to complete assessments in English

Currently hold a basic or advanced training certificate with the equivalent NZQA qualification (less than two years old)

This course will provide a refresher on the basics of first aid so that you can feel confident in your abilities if an emergency arises. Once you sign up for this course, you should plan on spending approximately a day on the lessons and the assessment.
